Bethany will be launching a new enquirers course in the Autumn, using new material called

the Y Course (www.ycourse.com)

This uses contemporary style video presentations, based around the book of Y
which has been intentially written without any 'church language.'
This book will be given free to all who follow the course with us.  We are planning a launch event, followed by eight weekly sessions starting with sharing food together.

Details of the launch event will follow shortly

The course is scheduled to start on the evening of Wednesday 3 October 2018

The Y course explores life's big issues:  Can anyone know "for sure" about anything they can't see, hear, touch smell fell or taste? Why so many religions and "so what" anyway?

What about life after this one - and why does heaven sound so boring?
Can there really be a God in a world with so much suffering?

If you think "God questions" are only ever dealt with by those with no sense of humour,
be ready for your illusions to be shattered.

The Y Course is so relevant to today's culture and society.
It poses the big questions and helps people on thier journey through life.

Cardiff Baptist Churches is a definitive history of the growth of the Baptist Movement in what was first a fishing village that grew into the Captial City of Wales.  It was without doubt, a labour of love by the author, John I Howells who was the church organist at Bethany for 30 years.
